Lauren Sánchez Reveals the One ‘Rule’ She & Jeff Bezos Have in Their Relationship

Despite being one of the most talked about couples in the public eye, not much is known about Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s relationship, despite their engagement and dozens of vacations.

But now, Sanchez just told People the “one rule” they have, and it’s surprisingly down-to-earth.

“My favorite part of the day is the morning,” she said in the rare statement. “I love waking up. I make myself a cup of coffee. I make Jeff a cup of coffee, and we kind of have this magic moment where it’s just us talking. The kids haven’t woken up yet. And we don’t get on our phones. That’s one of the rules.”

However, Sanchez wasn’t the one to make this rule, because she said she wanted to bring out her phone a lot in the mornings.

“He definitely made that rule,” she laughed. “It wasn’t me. But the mornings are just us for as long as we can.”

That’s so nice, and it shows how much they appreciate their time together! It’s a common practice many couples do to help enrich their relationship, and apparently billionaires are no different with their partners.

Despite meeting back in 2000, Bezos and Sanchez didn’t start dating until 2019. They confirmed their relationship in Jan 2019 after weeks of speculation, and soon after he announced his divorce from Mackenzie Scott.

They got engaged in May 2023 while on Bezos’ $500 million yacht named Koru.

In a rare interview with WSJ Magazine, Sanchez finally gave some details about their relationship, saying, “We love to be together and we love to work together.”
