Wildfire smoke lingers over Willamette Valley

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- We are going to be dealing with that pesky fire smoke for one more day before it finally begins to push off to the east on Monday.

Temperatures will range from the 60s along the Oregon Coast to the 80s in the Willamette Valley on Sunday, along with light wind. Models are beginning to hint at a pattern change for midweek as an area of low pressure drops down over the Pacific Northwest, bringing with it temperatures in the 60s and scattered showers across the region.

After record setting temperatures above 100 degrees last week, it's going to feel a lot more like fall later this week. Until then, enjoy a few more days in the 80s with light wind and passing clouds at times.
