The UFC opened its September schedule on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 242 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and the main event saw a welterweight contender continue to emerge.

Sean Brady (17-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) showed he’s capable of beating a proven former title challenger when he outpaced Gilbert Burns (22-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC) for a unanimous decision in the headlining act, setting multiple personal records in the process.
