I give my brunette hair a ‘fall vibe’ with a $22 shampoo – it isn’t damaging & a subtle change only takes a few minutes

A HAIRCARE fan has shared the inexpensive transitional shampoo she uses for fall.

She explained that a few minutes was all it took to get her hair up to autumnal speed.

Redditor RavingNative shared the haircare tip in a post.

She revealed that Tressa Watercolors Color Depositing Shampoo in Liquid Copper was her go-to fall buy.

The $22 color-depositing shampoo not only amplified her hair tone but also helped her look more cohesive throughout the season.

“I also change to more Earth tone colors with everything: makeup, clothes, hair, nails,” she said.

“I break out my humidifier and use my face steamer a lot more.

“I also dig out my boots and give them a good polish. I stock up on lip treatments (I’m going for ones with peptides this year).”

The skincare fan added that the shampoo works well on unbleached, dark hair.

“Virgin hair is fine. I have virgin brunette hair and it works great on mine with no damage,” she said.

“It doesn’t bleach your hair; it coats it in a color that rinses out.”

She explained that as the weather gets colder, she updates her beauty routine, especially her skincare.

“I absolutely continue to use sunscreen; I just change to more hydrating formulas.”

She added that she exfoliates less in the fall and winter as her skin doesn’t need it.

Others with brunette hair agreed that the product was their go-to for a hair refresh.

“I put copper conditioning hair color in my hair to give it a cinnamon spice vibe!” said one commenter.

“I do this as well and love using the Tressa Watercolors Color Depositing Shampoo in Liquid Copper,” said another.

“The whole line is awesome.”

They added that they leave the shampoo on for up to three minutes for a subtle tint.

For more “intense” color, they opt for ten to 15 minutes on the strands.

“It’s seriously amazing,” they said.

“It shows up bright on my highlights — most of my hair is brunette,” said one fan.

“I’m three weeks out, and I’m going to refresh it soon. You might want to dilute it with another color.”
