Paris Jackson Gets Sleek in Suede Boots at the NYFW x Paris Hilton Party in New York City
Paris Jackson stunned in suede thigh-high boots while attending the NYFW x Paris Hilton “Infinite Icon” Album release party in New York City earlier this week.
The “bandaid” singer arrived at the party in a pair of eye-catching thigh-high suede boots that fell just below her leather skirt. Splashed in a sleek black color, the entertainer’s boots fit like a sock, which accentuated her legs.
Jackson accessorized the rest of her outfit with a leather mini-skirt and a sheer artsy top, characterized by its creative design and long sleeves. Her boot and outfit choice was indicative of the changing fall weather. Tying her blonde locks into a ponytail style, she kept her makeup natural.
Suede boots have a colorful history, having been worn by many over the years. Suede shoes of any kind are regarded for being comfortable straight out of the box, with less of a break-in period as opposed to other types of footwear. The original purpose of boots was to protect one’s foot while walking, but in the centuries since, they have become used primarily for stylistic purposes, with many brands such as Gucci, Steve Madden, Timberland and more offering many different versions of the model.
When Jackson isn’t in cutting-edge boots, you can typically find her in platform heels or stilettos with a towering height. For the Desigual fashion Show in Barcelona, Spain this past June, the model showcased a pair of strappy sandals that featured a patent leather construction on the bottom and a thick strap across the toe box. A slender ankle strap with a buckle accompanied the silhouette, which was completed by a slightly curved heel that measured between 3 to 4 inches in height for the finisher.
The appearance came on the heels of Jackson walking in Alexander Wang’s runway show in New York City, where she sported a pair of thigh-high boots and a statement hoodie ensemble from the designer.
Up next for Jackson is a starring role alongside Shameik Moore in the RZA-directed “One Spoon of Chocolate.” The film follows an ex-military convict who leaves the city for a small town, where he finds love, danger and more trouble than he can handle.
