BLACKPINK's Jennie Signs New Solo Record Deal, To Release New Single This Fall

Jennie is ready to start a new chapter in her career!

The 28-year-old BLACKPINK singer has signed a new solo record deal with Columbia Records, the company revealed on Sunday (September 8).

This new deal will be in collaboration with Jennie‘s own label, OA (Odd Atelier), which she launched late last year.

She also posted a new TikTok using a Love Island sound to share the news.

Last December, it was announced that each member of BLACKPINK would not be signing solo contracts with YG, who they are signed with as a group.

One member from the K-pop group is set to perform at the VMAs this week!
