‘Can’t believe the prices’, cry savvy brides after spotting £20 dresses in Scots wedding shop
SAVVY brides have hailed a popular Scottish wedding shop after spotting dresses on sale for as little as £20.
Angelique Lamont Bridal and Bridesmaids, in Glasgow, is well-loved by brides and has often been praised as being the “best in the business”.
Not only does it have an incredible selection of wedding dresses in a range of different sizes to flatter every body shape, but it also sells a collection of veils, hair pieces and tiaras.
There are even beautiful bridesmaid dresses and flower girl gowns for everything you could possibly need for your big day.
The shop has served thousands of happy customers since it first opened its doors 44 years ago.
But bosses have now announced their retirement and revealed that the store will close its doors for the final time in the coming months.
No exact date has been announced as of yet, but the bridal shop is still taking appointments and bookings.
Which means there is plenty of time for brides to grab incredible bargains before it closes.
And, to go out in style, the shop has launched a massive closing-down sale.
Bosses have told how every single gown they have been heavily reduced for customers to purchase off the peg.
Some wedding dresses are on offer with as much as — per cent off – meaning some can be picked up for as little as £99.
But you’ll need to be quick because once it’s gone, it’s gone and the shop is not taking any more orders.
Some designers that can be bought from the shop include Demetrios Bridal, Ronald Joyce, Mori Lee and Tiffany Bridal.
One Mori Lee ball gown dress at £1,300 is on sale 70 per cent off and can be bought for just £399.
While a fitted Ronald Joyce lace gown is on offer for £499 down from £1,950.
And a stunning mermaid-styled dress can be bought for £399 instead of the original price of £1,600.
Bridesmaid dresses are also on sale for bargain prices and can be picked up for as little as £20.
The store currently stocks Mark Lesley, Richard Designs and Emma designer dresses in a range of colours and sizes.
But bosses have said these come in one size and one colour only as they are also ready to take home off the peg.
Staff at Angelique Lamont Bridal took to social media to share the news about their incredible sale.
In a post on Facebook, they wrote: “CLOSING SALE NOW ON. YES – every single gown we have is now reduced to purchase off the peg. Bridal STARTS FROM £99.
“BRIDESMAID – we don’t have multiple of each gowns, one size, one colour only.
“If you’d like your girls in matching colours or styles this isn’t for you. All gowns to buy and take away STARTING FROM £20.
