Beyonce will go head to head with Oasis next summer as US superstar books huge UK stadium gigs
POP superstar Beyonce is set to unveil a series of UK stadium gigs for next summer — rivalling Oasis’ massive comeback.
Insiders said the US singer has around five dates already planned for the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, with other locations also in the pipeline.
It came as Liam Gallagher was seen for the first time yesterday since he reconciled with his brother Noel last month to announce Oasis’ 19-date tour.
The pair put their differences from their 2009 split aside and will play to over one million fans across the country in July, August and September next year.
Beyonce’s huge concerts will celebrate her latest No1 album, Cowboy Carter, released in March.
And insiders told The Sun major pop artists including Shakira and Ariana Grande will also unveil British concerts for next year in the coming months.
A music source said: “Beyonce is about to raise the roof. The demand for tickets will be just like Oasis’ and will rival fans’ rush to get their hands on a seat.
“2025 is going to be an incredible year for live music.”
Last year, Beyonce’s eight date UK stadium tour helped boost the economy by £8billion, with billions more set to come next year thanks to fans splashing cash on travel, hotels and eating out.
A source added: “Oasis and Beyonce are top tier and demand for tickets will be fierce. Over seven million people tried to get Oasis tickets — and Beyonce’s fans will be out in force too.
“Next summer, major artists like Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Usher and Sabrina Carpenter are booked to play UK arena shows too.
“The boost to the economy is going to be phenomenal. This is what the public needs right now — something to look forward to.”
Catherine Shuttleworth, chief executive at marketing consultancy Savvy, said: “Cities fight to have Beyonce playing because she sparks a huge influx of visitors ready to spend.
“Her tours boost hotels and restaurants and even salons as people want to look their best.”
'Forget Oasis'

WHEN my phone rang at 8am this morning with the news about Beyoncé’s mega 2025 stadium tour I punched the air.
“Forget Oasis,” my contact shouted. “Beyoncé is coming to the UK next summer.
“She’s doing Tottenham Stadium, probably five nights. It’s nailed on.”
And just when everything felt so hideously gloomy, the realisation that we’ve got a bumper summer of music coming up next year gave me the lift I needed.
It’s not just Oasis and Beyonce who are coming here, as, if my sources serve me right, Ariana Grande and Shakira are also eyeing up massive concerts in 2025 too.
This is on top of the stars who are already booked to perform next year, including Usher, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Dua Lipa, Imagine Dragons and Billie Eilish who are all putting on shows on UK soil.
That’s more musical heavyweights than you can shake a stick at and it makes my heart sing.
The cost of living crisis is biting us hard, everyone is terrified of putting on the heating and the government is trying to ban smoking in pub gardens.
But when it all feels a bit rubbish, I shut eyes and think about the sun shining on my shoulders as I dance, terribly, with an overpriced/lukewarm pint of lager in my hand in front of some of my favourite music stars.
First things first though, is working out how the hell I am going to afford the tickets.
But I’ve got the rest of winter to work that out.
Oasis have sold all the available tickets for their first 17 shows, with two extra Wembley stadium gigs being sold by ballot.
Liam returned from his holiday home in the South of France this weekend. Yesterday, he was photographed for the first time since the reunion was announced.
Onlookers said he looked relaxed as he walked his rescue dog Buttons close to the mansion he rents in Gloucestershire with fiancee Debbie Gwyther.
They said: “Liam looked like he didn’t have a care in the world, let alone the biggest tour of his career looming over him.”
DUA LIPA JOINS A-LIST SUMMER BATTLE
DUA LIPA is among the stars leading a raft of huge concerts in the UK next summer.
The British superstar will play Wembley Stadium on June 20 and 21.
Fellow Brit Olly Murs is also on tour next year and will play 16 huge arena shows, starting in Plymouth on April 25.
American singer Sabrina Carpenter also has six huge shows, kicking off in Birmingham on March 6 before playing two shows at London’s O2 Arena, one in Glasgow’s Ovo Arena and two in Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena.
Billie Eilish has 12 arena shows booked, starting in Glasgow’s Ovo Arena on July 7 before taking in six nights at London’s O2 before a four night run in Manchester’s Co-Op Live.
Usher is down to play ten massive gigs all in London’s O2, while rock band Imagine Dragons will play a one off show at the Tottenham stadium on July 26.
Snow Patrol, Papa Roach, Fontaines DC and Catfish And The Bottlemen are also playing massive shows next year.
