Two Cowboys And One Sooner Earn Weekly Honors

Two Oklahoma State football players and one from Oklahoma were honored with a weekly conference award on Monday.

OSU linebacker Nick Martin is the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, and defensive end Obi Ezeigbo is the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.

OU defensive lineman Gracen Halton is the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week.

Martin had 16 tackles, with four and a half for a loss, in OSU's win over Arkansas last Saturday.

Ezeigbo had nine tackles and two sacks against the Razorbacks.

Halton had two tackles for loss against Houston, one for a sack and the other recorded the game-clinching safety.
