CM Punk Vs Drew McIntyre To Face Off In Hell In A Cell At WWE Bad Blood
New Delhi: In what has been described as the bloodiest and most intense feud on “WWE Raw,” CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are set to settle their differences in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE’s upcoming Bad Blood event. This announcement marks the climax of their historically brutal rivalry.
On Monday’s “WWE Raw,” McIntyre addressed the ongoing conflict, initially expressing a desire to move on from his feud with Punk and pursue the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, Adam Pearce, WWE’s authority figure, intervened. Pearce was adamant that McIntyre would not be allowed to advance in his career without facing consequences for his September 2 attack on Punk, which left Punk being transported away in an ambulance.
To resolve their bitter dispute, Pearce decreed that Punk and McIntyre will face off in a Hell in a Cell match, scheduled to take place at Bad Blood on October 5. This bout will be the third and deciding match in their violent series, promising an extraordinary level of brutality.
Interestingly, the announcement comes nearly three months after Punk’s press conference appearance at Clash in the Castle, where he expressed disdain for gimmick matches, including Hell in a Cell. Punk had previously stated his lack of interest in such match stipulations, making his forthcoming participation in this high-stakes bout all the more intriguing. As of now, Punk has not addressed his earlier comments in light of the new match announcement.
