NFL Star C.J. Stroud Is Now a Jordan Brand Athlete

For much of his young NFL career, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has laced up Jordan cleats on the field. Now, he’s backed by Jordan Brand.

The namesake label of NBA icon Michael Jordan announced via social media that Stroud is part of the Jordan family.

Stroud is part of an athlete roster that includes top NFL talent (Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Puka Nacua, Maxx Crosby), as well as MLB (Aaron Judge, Elly De La Cruz, William Contreras), NBA (Jayson Tatum, Luka Dončić, Zion Williamson) and more.

Although Stroud joining the Jordan family was announced, terms of the deal have not been stated.

In 2023, his first year in the league, Stroud was named to his first Pro Bowl and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 15 games played, Stroud completed 319 of 499 pass attempts for 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Although the 2024 NFL season has just started, Stroud and the Texans are sitting atop the AFC South standings. In Houston’s first game of the season, Stroud led Houston to a 29-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He completed 24 of 23 pass attempts for 234 yards and two touchdowns.

Stroud and the Texans will host the Chicago Bears on Sept. 15 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
