Oasis plot even more shows at iconic venue after 19-night sell out reunion tour

OASIS are sizing up a return to Knebworth for 2026 – 30 years after they played two sold-out shows there.

Insiders told us Noel and Liam Gallagher are both open to the idea but will wait until they’ve started their 19-date reunion tour next year before they decide.

Their two gigs at the stately home in Hertfordshire in August 1996 went down in history, with the brothers playing to more than 250,000 fans.

The record they set was later beaten by their long-term rival Robbie Williams, who played to 375,000 over three nights in 2003.

A source said: “A return to Knebworth sounds like a pipe dream but it’s now something that is seriously being considered by Noel and Liam.

“They are fully committed to their comeback next year and want to see how they gel first before making this idea a reality.

“Noel and Liam know that going back to Knebworth would be iconic and given the massive demand for tickets to the reunion tour, they know it would sell.

“And naturally, the prospect of breaking Robbie’s record makes the idea even more appealing.

“There is a love-hate relationship between the three of them, but Noel and Liam know it would be brilliant if they could take Robbie’s crown one last time.”

Knebworth’s owner, Henry Lytton Cobbold, is also open to the idea.

His grounds have hosted gigs featuring some of the music world’s biggest stars, including Queen, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Henry said he’d love to have Oasis back.

He added: “Wembley is a reasonable warm-up venue for Knebworth. But get ready for a huge 30th shindig in 2026.

“That’s what the people want and they seem pretty good at doing what the people want. It would be a great way to have the best party of all parties.”
