'Melts down after about 15 minutes': Ex-Trump aide shares debate prediction with Harris
An ex-aide to former President Donald Trump advised Vice President Kamala Harris that he has a 15-minute time limit at Tuesday's debate — and then he'll lose it.
"The View" co-hosts began their show by predicting how Trump and Harris's first and possibly only debate would go.
"I think she has more to lose but also more to gain," predicted Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served as the White House communications director for Trump.

She cited a recent New York Times poll showing voters want to know more about her.
"The person who will emerge the victor is the person who leaves Americans thinking, I understand your hardships, and I have a plan to solve them," said Griffin. "She needs to approach this like a job interview. You don't talk about why the other guy isn't good for you, but why you are the best person for the job."
She noted that it doesn't mean Harris can't fact-check him or call him out on his record, but a key piece is that she must outline her policies, values, and who she is.
"The biggest strategic error her campaign made is not having her in her own words answer on some of the policy reversals ahead of the debate," Griffin continued. "She was for 'defund the police' at one point and cutting funding to ICE, just to name a couple. They should have had [an] answer to that, so when she has the biggest audience, she's not, for the first time, addressing those issues."
She predicted that Trump would likely bring up these issues, but said Harris has one major advantage.
"Donald Trump, I tend to think, melts down after about 15 minutes," she said. "He can start strong, but he tends to diminish. It's a 90-minute debate. So, there is a chance he starts strong. I pay attention to the back half when he gets into handicaps and golf and all that."
