Multiple roads closed for water main repair after flooding in downtown OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — After a water main break caused flooding in parts of downtown Oklahoma City on Monday, the City of OKC announced several city streets will be closed while crews make repairs.

The city says impacted areas include:

  • Main Street between Virginia and Pennsylvania Avenues. (eastbound lane closed).
  • Northwest 10th Street between Barnes and Villa Avenues (open one way both directions).
  • Pennsylvania Avenue between Main Street and Northwest 7th Street (all lanes closed in both directions).

This is currently no estimated time for when the repairs will be completed. The cause of the break in the main is still unknown.

While repair work is ongoing, customers in the area might notice lower water pressure.
