Adam Driver Joins Francis Ford Coppola, Nathalie Emmanuel, & More at 'Megalopolis' Premiere at TIFF 2024
The Megalopolis stars are stepping out to promote their new movie!
Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Giancarlo Esposito joined director Francis Ford Coppola at the a screening of their upcoming movie on Thursday evening (Sept. 9) held at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.
Fellow cast members in attendance included Grace VanderWaal and DB Sweeney.
Megalopolis is a Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina (Driver), a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Esposito), who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero (Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.
Megalopolis, which also stars Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter and Dustin Hoffman, will be released in theaters on Sept. 27.
