Karnataka's agriculture official attempts suicide over 'harassment' by superiors

In Kalaburagi, Dharmaraj B Khainur, a superintendent with the agriculture department, attempted suicide citing harassment by superiors who allegedly demanded bribes. He accused officials of mental torture. Minister Cheluvarayaswamy stated that Khainur was transferred due to complaints and is now trying to gain sympathy.
