Two Coronation Street couples facing shock splits in spoiler twist
TWO Corrie couples could be rocked by shock splits after being driven to a potential breaking point in their relationships.
Weatherfield has seen its fair share of heartbreak over the past few weeks with a number of Coronation Street couples rocked by sad splits.
Beth Tinker finally called off her union to Kirk as she fled the cobbles for a new life in Norwich.
Whilst, Nick and Leanne’s relationship was left ruined for good as she finally discovered his cheating with her sister Toyah.
Now, it appeared that there is more trouble on the horizon for a further two Coronation Street couples.
In upcoming scenes, the two pairs will be tested and face roadblocks in their romance.
Bethany Platt and Daniel Osbourne will be hit by a romance tremor after she spots him looking cosy with his ex, Daisy.
As part of a brand new work opportunity, Bethany will be given the chance to head out to Turkey to meet with the CEO of a cosmetic surgery company.
She finds herself getting ready to fly out in order to write up an advertorial in order to promote the business.
Upon deciding that she will fly out to the country, Bethany will be left knocked for six when she spies Daniel sharing a close hug with his ex Daisy out the corner of her eye.
Whilst it seems that trouble could be in paradise for the pair, it looks like Daisy’s romance to Ryan will also suffer too.
Firstly, Daisy will offer to babysit Bertie whilst Daniel takes Bethany to the airport ahead of her Turkey trip.
This leaves Ryan disgruntled that his partner is maintaining a bond with her ex’s child.
It causes him to admit that he would love to spend more time with her and that this could be achieved by them moving in together.
However, as Daisy falters and bats off the idea, Ryan tells her that he thinks she is still in love with Daniel.
Will Daisy agree and could it spell an end to their romance?
And how will Daniel react to the news that his ex wants him back for good?

A devout Muslim, Syed refused to admit his true sexuality and went ahead and married Amira anyway, but when they returned, the two men started an affair before being caught in the act by Amira.
CORONATION STREET
Shelley/Peter/Lucy: Peter Barlow took the concept of a love triangle and ran with it in Coronation Street – extending it to bigamy.
He was in a relationship with Shelley Unwin but started dating Lucy Richards, and quickly married her after she fell pregnant with his son, Simon.
But it didn’t stop him also marrying Shelley, but he was eventually caught when Lucy turned up in Weatherfield and the two women confronted him.
Ken/Deidre/Mike: Back in 1982, Deirdre Barlow started sleeping with her husband’s nemesis Mike Baldwin in secret, before confessing all a year later.
When Mike turned up at the marital home, Deirdre was being throttled by her husband who then kicked her out, but years later they reconciled.
Maria/Aidan/Eva: In 2017, Aidan Connor started sleeping with girlfriend Eva Price’s best friend, Maria Connor.
Eva eventually found out and she decided to take revenge by faking a pregnancy, spending his money and planned to confront him on their wedding day.
But she had a change of heart when a remorseful Aidan confessed, and decided to marry him anyway, only for Maria to arrive and expose her fake pregnancy.
EMMERDALE
Ross/Debbie/Pete: Debbie Dingle found herself torn between two brothers, Ross and Pete Barton in 2015 in Emmerdale.
She eventually decided to marry Pete but yet again, a soap wedding day was ruined when the groom learned of his bride’s betrayal via a recording played at the wedding.
Chrissie/Robert/Aaron: Robert Sugden was married to Chrissie White and all seemed well – until he began a steamy affair with Aaron Dingle.
Robert’s ex Katie Sugden almost exposed the affair – but fell to her death before she had the chance.
However, a guilty Aaron eventually cracked and told Chrissie about the affair – after which she announced it to the whole pub.
