Is helium the hidden villain behind space missions?

NASA astronauts aboard Boeing's Starliner will remain on the International Space Station for months due to a faulty propulsion system with helium leaks. SpaceX's Polaris Dawn mission has also been delayed by helium issues. Helium is used in rockets for pressurizing fuel tanks and cooling systems, but its small atomic size makes it prone to leaks.
