K-State basketball player ticketed for alleged marijuana possession in Manhattan
MANHATTAN (KSNT) - The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) cited a K-State basketball player Tuesday for two alleged violations.
The RCPD's latest citation report shows Macaleab Rich was ticketed around 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 10. He was cited for possession of marijuana and no proof of insurance.
"We are aware of the incident involving Macaleab Rich. Per policy, we will let the judicial process run its course and have no further comment."
K-State spokesman
Rich hails from St. Louis, Illinois and is a wing for the K-State men's basketball team, according to his profile with K-State Athletics. He is a sophomore at the university.
