Dry air continues to yield cool nights and warm afternoons for the area

What We’re Tracking

  • A few passing clouds
  • Tropical moisture stays to the east
  • Nice weather this weekend

Another cool and mostly clear night ahead as temperatures dip into the upper 50s to lower 60s areawide. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and very warm by Thursday afternoon with highs again climbing into the upper 80s.

Chances of rain this week look to remain slim to none even heading into next weekend. Overall a very quiet week ahead. Hurricane Francine does not bring any rain chances as it looks to pass to our east tomorrow as a tropical depression. We'll see a very slim cooldown and some thin cloud cover in our eastern counties.

Despite the warm afternoons, the low humidity air will keep it feeling very comfortable throughout the week. Highs will stay in the middle to upper 80s throughout the weekend and early next week. A few isolated rain chances may develop early next week, but we'll have to wait until it is closer to nail down the timing on those rain chances.
