Travis Kelce Perfectly Roasts Jason's ESPN Wardrobe Malfunction
Jason Kelce made his big broadcasting debut on Monday Night Countdown earlier this week. And while it inarguably went better than say, Tom Brady leading color commentary with NFL on Fox on Sunday, Kelce's debut also wasn't completely without incident, to the glee of his brother, Travis Kelce.
Right at the start of Monday night's broadcast, Kelce's fellow commentator Scott Van Pelt addressed the big-chested elephant in the room when welcoming his new colleague.
"Collectively, we are thrilled to welcome in a six-time first team All-NFL selection, Super Bowl champion, future gold jacket wearer, he’s got a podcast that apparently is doing fairly well," Van Pelt noted. "All that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck."
For his part, Kelce admitted to the faux pas, as the buttons on his shirt were seen barely holding the material together. "It fits my belly now. I've lost a little bit of weight, but my tits are still struggling," the former Philadelphia Eagles center admitted, adjusting his shirt.

Travis Kelce later commented on ESPN's Instagram post, quipping, "Surprised he even bought a new one, and didn’t just go shirtless," as a nod to his brother's viral Kansas City Chiefs playoff appearance earlier this year. And in the latest episode of the pair's hit New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Travis continued roasting Jason.
"You went up to the Bay Area for your first Monday Night Countdown appearance and forgot to pack a shirt for Jason," Travis said, noting that his brother got explain himself "within the first 30 seconds of his ESPN debut," before running the clip in question.

"Great quote. And, me and Taylor were watching that absolutely dying laughing at it," the Chiefs tight end continued, referring to his girlfriend Taylor Swift. "It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they were gonna experience for the next 18 weeks. Do we think this is the first time 'tits' has been said on ESPN?"
"I don't know, tits is a funny word," Jason admitted. "I think it's allowable—it's not against the rules to say in a broadcast, but it's definitely not something you would typically say in a broadcast, you know what I mean? It's like one of those words that doesn't belong on a broadcast."
"'Tits' was the most perfect word you could have used in that situation," Travis joked. "Those buttons were hiding on by the thread. It looked like a stretchy shirt but it looked like you might have needed to go a size up."
Of course, this is not the first time Jason Kelce has forgotten an article of clothing before an appearance. The 36-year-old showed up the to the premiere of Prime Video's Kelce documentary last September wearing T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. At the time, he blamed his wife Kylie Kelce for not bringing his jeans, to which Travis incredulously responded: "Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?"

After trying to explain himself Jason eventually conceded, "I’m realizing now I can’t blame this on Kylie." In other words, this is not the first and will surely not be the last time Jason Kelce shows up underdressed to his new gig. Get this man a stylist STAT.
