Who is Lacey from MAFS 2024 and which relatives must her potential husband impress?

MARRIED At First Sight is now in its ninth season, and is welcoming a brand new batch of singletons onto the show.

After thousands of people applied, Lacey is one of the lucky few who was picked to wed a stranger.

Meet Married at First 2024 bride Lacey Martin[/caption]

Hailing from Hertfordshire, Lacey Martin is a 27-year-old office manager.

After failing to find love, she is looking for romance on Married At First Sight’s 2024 series.

Describing herself as confident, loud and sassy, Lacey revealed she “brings the fun” to social situations.

She said that her “positive and vibrant attitude” has seen her
through ups and downs and has “shaped the person she is
today”.

Despite being a serial dater, Lacey has been single for the past
four years, after a decade-long relationship ended.

It’s a twin thing

Lacey is a ‘miracle’ IVF baby and has a twin sister called Paige who she is extremely close to.

After it was revealed she would be on the show, her sister posted: “Wooooo yassss my incredible amazing twin sister you deserve the world!

“You are my inspiration I am sooooo proud of you goooooo Lacey gooooo Lacey gooooo Lacey goooo Lacey gooo Lacey!”

But Lacey’s husband-to-be not only need’s her twin sister’s seal of approval, he also needs to impress her mum.

Lacey will be on TV screens as part of the line-up for Married At First Sight UK 2024.

The relationship experiment series is now in it’s ninth series, and fans are being promised more drama than ever.

The new series kicks off on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 9pm on E4, and will then air on weekdays except from Fridays.

Relationship experts Paul C Brunson and Mel Schilling will couple Lacey off with a groom they think she is her best match.

Looking for ‘the one’

Lacey chose to sign up for Married At First Sight in an attempt to find the man of her dreams.

She was chosen out of thousands of applicants, and will now marry a complete stranger in front of millions of viewers.

Speaking to Channel 4 before walking down the aisle, Lacey said: “I’d love to get a husband. I’m thinking long term so husband, babies, travel then move in together.”

She wants to “get rid of all the f**K boys in her life and find someone
who will love her for her.

Lacey also shared the big news on Instagram, that she would be on MAFS and posted: “The hardest kept secret is out..I said “ I Do” and married a complete stranger.”

After announcing the news that she was going to be one of the MAFS brides, Lacey was inundated with messages.

This included comments from celebrities, who also wished her well.
