Alina Habba to pay undisclosed sum to Trump worker she allegedly tricked into silence

Trump lawyer Alina Habba is paying out an undisclosed sum to settle a claim filed by a former employee of the former president who said Habba tricked her into signing a nondisclosure agreement to cover up sexual harassment.

NOTUS reported that Habba has settled the case with Alice Bianco, a former waitress at Trump's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, who claimed that the lawyer deceived her into accepting a hush-money agreement that paid her $15,000 to keep quiet about the alleged harassment she received from another Bedminster employee.

As NOTUS wrote, the Bedminster club quickly sought to distance itself legally from Habba after the alleged scheme to deceive Bianco became public.

"In March, the club agreed to void the hush money deal in a settlement agreement, let her keep the cash and pay her lawyer, Nancy Erika Smith, $82,500 in fees," wrote NOTUS. "But the club cut Habba out of that settlement, leaving her wide open to getting personally sued for her role in the ordeal."

While terms of the deal have not been disclosed, Bianco and her attorney, Erika Smith, nonetheless claimed it as a total vindication of her claims.

“I feel very proud," said Bianco. "I’m very grateful to have my life back. This was a three-year-long fight that caused many sleepless nights."
