29 textile traders cheated of Rs 85 lakh, two brothers booked in Surat

Twenty-nine textile traders in Surat have reportedly lost Rs 85.12 lakh due to a scam by two brothers from Rajasthan. Vikas and Parmeshwar Kumawat purchased saris and other materials but failed to make payments as promised. An FIR has been lodged against the brothers and their father for cheating under sections 420 and 120B.
