WWE Fans Recklessly Speculate The Rock’s Return After Triple H Tease

"SmackDown" makes its return to USA Network on Friday, and WWE fans think the "season premiere" will be one to remember.

That speculation isn't that far off since "SmackDown's" debut on FOX is infamously remembered as when Brock Lesnar squashed Kofi Kingston to win the WWE championship to set up a match against MMA rival Cain Velasquez.

Fans hope this Friday turns out better with WWE setting up an undisputed universal title match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match. The match was announced by chief content officer Paul Levesque, aka Triple H, who added a "wait and see" teaser at the end of his social media post.

Even though it's a steel cage match, which is meant to prevent outside interference, WWE fans know that anything involving The Bloodline will feature shenanigans. Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam, which was his first appearance since losing to Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, and he's already targeted Sikoa and his new version of The Bloodline. So it wouldn't be surprising to see him involved.

But WWE fans believe Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson also could get back into the mix. There really is no basis for this, just fans' imaginations running wild. Jimmy Uso also has been absent since Sikoa turned on him in April, so fans also think he could return, too.

With Survivor Series coming up, WWE could use this Friday's "SmackDown" to set up a monumental tag match with a team consisting of Reigns, The Rock and Jimmy Uso against Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga or Tonga Loa. Fans think Jey Uso might return alongside Reigns, but he seems entrenched in the intercontinental title scene, though logic just might be out of the window with anything involving The Bloodline. Loa could just be used as an enforcer since he's not in the same physical shape as Fatu or Tonga nor is he as pushed as Sikoa is.

Friday also could be used to set up future matches between Reigns and Sikoa and Rhodes and The Rock, which reportedly has been discussed.

WWE certainly stacked the card for its change of networks, and fans hope it will be one to remember for good reasons compared to the FOX debut.
