Predicted Tottenham XI to face Arsenal in the North London Derby – Solanke starts

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Arsenal to N17 this weekend for the first North London Derby of the season, but who will make Ange Postecoglou’s starting XI?

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will start between the sticks for Tottenham against the Gunners, with his trusty centre-back pairing of Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven in front of him.

Pedro Porro stayed behind at Hotspur Way this week, with Spain yet again passing up on the chance to call him up, while Destiny Udogie made two cameos off the bench for Italy. Both start against Arsenal.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma fails a late fitness test and is replaced in the starting XI by Rodrigo Bentancur. Pape Matar Sarr is preferred on the right to add some legs to the engine room, while James Maddison remains in his creative role off the left.

Up front, Dominic Solanke finally returns for Spurs to lead the line, with Heung-min Son pushed out left and Dejan Kulusevski starting on the right.

Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert will have to make do with appearances off the bench.
