Man accused of trying to sexually assault girl, 13, in Manhattan: NYPD
KIPS BAY, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man is accused of attempting to sexually assault a 13-year-old girl in Manhattan back on Aug. 28, according to the NYPD.
The teenager was walking near East 29th Street and 3rd Avenue in Kips Bay around 3:40 a.m. when the suspect approached her, police said.
The man is accused of fleeing the scene going northbound on 3rd Avenue. The girl was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
The suspect is described as being around 6'2" with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, dark-colored pants and black and white sneakers, according to authorities.
