Mets Minors Recap: Nolan McLean Tosses Gem for Binghamton
It was a tale of two teams for the final Mets affiliates still playing as the minor league season comes to a close. Triple-A Syracuse couldn’t get its bats rolling while the pitching staff had its own troubles. Meanwhile, Double-A Binghamton stayed hot thanks to standout performances from a pair of top prospects.

Syracuse’s offense remained cold with a seven-hit performance as the team lost its sixth game in a row. Gilbert was the only player to tally multiple hits while the Mets went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position and were caught stealing twice.
