Trump makes bizarre name glitch during California speech

Former President Donald Trump on Friday took a firm stance against his political foe — whom he referred to as Comrade Howard.

Trump at a press conference in California, home state of Democratic Party presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, appeared to glitch when it came time to call her by name.

"Not only is Comrade Howard — I mean," Trump said, before continuing without correction, "You take a look at this."

The next time he tried to use his nickname for the vice president, he took a pause.

"Not only is Comrade Kamala allowing illegal aliens to stampede across her border, but then it was announced about a year ago that they're actually flying them in — nobody knew that — they were secretly flying in hundreds of thousands of people, some of the worst murderers and terrorists you've ever seen," Trump said.

This fumble arrived days after Trump's "trainwreck" presidential debate against Harris raised further concerns among experts that the former president is experiencing cognitive decline.

"Trump’s expressions of those tendencies were alarming," wrote Friedman. "He displayed some striking, if familiar, patterns that are commonly seen among people in cognitive decline."

On Friday morning, CNN anchor Jim Acosta seriously questioned Republican pundit Scott Jennings on whether Trump was fit to serve.

"Do you think that Trump is all there?" Acosta asked. "Is he of sound mind?"
