Tucker Carlson’s interview with historian Darryl Cooper last week caused massive controversy online after Cooper posited a number of questionable theories about WWII, including labeling Winston Churchill the villain of the war.

In today’s episode of The Spectacle podcast, hosts Melissa Mackenzie and Scott McKay analyze Carlson’s interview with Cooper and the questions raised by Cooper’s claims. While repudiating Cooper’s false claims, they discuss the importance of listening to the whole argument and of understanding the context, the history, and their interpretation.
