Royals put RHP Chris Stratton (forearm) on 15-day IL

The Kansas City Royals placed right-hander Chris Stratton on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a right forearm flexor strain and recalled left-hander Angel Zerpa from Triple-A Omaha.

Stratton allowed two runs on three hits in the ninth inning of Kansas City's 8-3 victory over the host Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday.

He is 4-3 with four saves and a 5.55 ERA in 57 relief appearan
