Team News: Queen's Park

There are four changes to the Hibernian Women starting XI ahead of our first ever SWPL meeting versus Queen’s Park.

The Hibees take on the Glasgow side at Meadowbank Stadium at 1pm on Sunday (15 September).

Vice-captain Poppy Lawson makes her first start since our opening day victory over Partick Thistle.

The English centre-back missed the four games that followed that win in Maryhill, before returning off the bench versus Hearts last week at Easter Road as a substitute.

Abbie Ferguson returns to the starting line-up after starting from the bench last Friday. The 20-year-old has scored once and nabbed three assists so far this season.

The attacker was recognised for her excellent start to the new campaign by winning her first Scottish Women’s Premier League Player of the Month award on Wednesday.

Grant Scott has decided to add in an extra attacker for the match, with number nine Eilidh Adams joining the front line.

The 20-year-old striker is only making her third start of the 2024/25 season, but has already bagged five goals in the league.

The fourth and final change occurs in between the sticks, as Noa Schumacher dons the gloves for the fourth time this season.

Our American shot-stopper kept two clean sheets in our first three league games to kick-off the season.

Mya Christie, Stacey Papadopoulos and Erin Clachers drop to the bench, while Kirsten Reilly misses out entirely.
