Darts star Luke Littler in subtle outfit change that has gone unnoticed for two months

Littler, 17, lost to Luke Humphries at Ally Pally but became a viral sensation with his iconic purple kit.

He then went on to win the Premier League on his debut in the famous jersey.

However, it appears he has made a very subtle outfit adjustment.

Fan-favourite Littler wrapped up victory in the World Series of Darts final against Michael Smith in Amsterdam.

The Nuke crushed Michael van Gerwen in the semi-final to set up the blockbuster final.

He then saw off Smith by the same 11-4 scoreline to get his hands on the trophy – with some fans even cheering him on in replicas of his trademark number.

But he did so in his new shirt at the oche.

So, can you spot the differences?

The purple colour scheme has been replaced with a blue version.

And there are some subtle changes to the design, too, with the honeycomb pattern effect on the original now ditched.

Littler – who did have to wear a different jersey in New Zealand to abide by local laws – has added a nuclear warning symbol to the front of the kit as well as some yellow warning lines.

There are now two additional smaller “The Nuke” phrases – one on the front and one on the back – to go with the big one that has stayed on the back.

And to top it off, Littler has landed his very own logo.

The new custom ‘LL’ symbol takes pride of place on the sleeve.

It is thought Littler wore his previous kit publicly for the final time at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix on July 4.

Because by the time he took on Van Gerwen at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens for the World Matchplay 11 days later on July 15, he was sporting the fresher, updated style.

However, there have been no references to Littler’s new kit or the slight change on social media – with the update seemingly going under the radar… until now.
