Trump the Target of ‘Attempted Assassination’ at His Florida Golf Club: FBI
Former President Donald Trump was the target of a second apparent assassination attempt as he golfed in Florida on Sunday, according to the FBI.
The agency said in a late afternoon statement that it had responded to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach “and is investigating what appears to be an attempted assassination of former President Trump.”
In a brief statement issued several hours earlier, Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said that Trump “is safe following gunshots in his vicinity.” He did not offer any further details.
