Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi Roasted On Stage at Emmys 2024 for Being a 16-Time Award Loser

Padma Lakshmi is a television legend at this point, but she still hasn’t won an Emmy… which was made known on stage at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

The Top Chef icon presented alongside Veep‘s Sam Richardson during the show on Sunday (September 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Sam won an Emmy recently for his work on Ted Lasso and he decided to ask Padma how many times she had been nominated. She brought up the number, which is 16, according to IMDb.

When asked how many awards she’s won, Padma had to admit the number is zero. It was then pointed out that she was presenting the category that she often was nominated for… Outstanding Reality-Competition Program. Well, we think that she is long overdue for a win!
