Roundup: Heavy rainfalls swept across central, eastern Europe, causing deaths, widespread damages

BRATISLAVA, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Continuous rainfalls over the past several days in central and eastern Europe have claimed the lives of local residents, triggered evacuations and caused widespread damages and disruptions. LIVES CLAIMED

Rivers and streams in some of those countries have been swollen after almost non-stopping rains since last Friday, leading to floods and bringing about deaths and injuries.
