Exact date within days as Aldi’s sale on baby and toddler items is coming back – prices start from just 79p

ALDI is back with its baby and toddler event later this week so you can save big on all baby essentials.

Shoppers will rush to the budget-friendly supermarket from this Sunday, September 22 to grab all the latest deals on baby and toddler items.

You could make a huge saving by shopping at Aldi from Sunday

With prices starting from 79p, bargain-hunting families will be able to get must-haves for their little ones for very cheap.

The new Special Buys selection features budget-friendly necessities such as baby bottles for £2.99 and nappies for 75p.

Aldi’s Special Buys are on sale until they sell out, so it’s better to go sooner rather than later if you have an item in mind as once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The range coming this week also boasts a variety of potential presents, from books to plush toys and toy prams.

Parents and parents-to-be will be rushing to Aldi to bag the latest deals, as these items regularly sell out quickly.

All items in the baby and toddler event will be available to buy in stores from Sunday, including exclusively discounted products from the Tommee Tippee range.

Aldi has around 620 shops in the UK. You can use the Aldi store finder on its website to locate your nearest retailer.

As always, remember to compare prices with other stores to be sure you’re not missing out on a better deal elsewhere.

The best way to do this is by filtering your search items while surfing online websites.

By selecting “lowest prices first” when you click “sort by”, you can filter the cheapest deals between different websites.

It’s also always worth checking your local Facebook groups to scout the best deals in stores near you.

Mamia Ultra Dry Air System Nappies (24 pack) – 79p

The Mamia Ultra Dry Air System Nappies are on sale for 75p in Aldi

Aldi is selling 24 nappies for just 75p, meaning they cost just 3.2p each.

The pack will be available for newborn babies, up to age six plus.

When compared to rival cheap supermarket Asda, which stocks a pack of 24 Little Angels newborn nappies for 89p, Aldi buyers save 1p for every two nappies used.

If you shop in Tesco, a 24 pack of Fred & Flo newborn nappies would set you back £1.20 total – saving 41p if you buy from Aldi this weekend instead.

The Nuby potty has a realistic flush deign and will be sold for £19.99

Aldi’s Nuby My Real potty is described as “a realistic training toilet that looks and feels like the adult version.”

The Make Believe Cloth Book and Really Decent Wibbly Wobbly Book aim to offer a learning experience for your child.

Alternatively, a “My First Nursery Rhymes” book with sound effects will cost £3.99 in Aldi on Sunday.

The Tommee Tippee healthcare kit will be available in Aldi from Sunday

For £14.99, the Tommee Tippee Healthcare kit comes with a comb, brush, nail clipper, toothbrush, nail file, scissors, a thermometer and a nasal aspirator.

The same product is selling on Argos website for £20, meaning more than £5 saved when you shop at Aldi.

Tommee Tippee Bottle Warmer – £14.99

The bottle warmer will be sold for £14.99

The Tommee Tippee bottle warmer is perfect for feeding your little one on the go.

Other Tommee Tippee bottle warmers can cost as much as £58.99 on the brand’s website, meaning savvy buyers of Special Buys products save £44.

This means Aldi buyers will be rushing to their local store to save at least £3.50 on purchase.

Licensed Cup/Bottles – £2.99

The soda cups will be sold with varying kids designs

For babies feeding, or toddlers starting nursery and school, these cups/bottles are perfect due to their anti-spill designs.

The Licensed Cup, designed with their favourite characters, is priced at £2.99.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

What is the Aldi baby and toddler event?

In recent history, the Aldi baby and toddler event has happened twice a year, with the last event taking place in July.

The event showcases all of Aldi’s baby and toddler essentials, from bottles and nappies to bottles and toys.

The products often sell out, so make sure you get ahead of the game by browsing which products are in store soon via the Aldi website.

To sift through the best deals, keep an eye on local Facebook bargain groups and monitor the cheapest items using the “Sort By” tool on supermarket websites.
