Scour repair project to begin tomorrow on South College Road in Lafayette, DOTD says
LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A scour repair project will begin Wednesday, Sept. 18, beneath the bridge at the intersection of South College Road and West Bayou Parkway, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced Tuesday.
According to a news release, the $428,000 project will include clearing and grubbing, temporary dams, scour repair at the existing bridge structure, and other related work.
The work will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some work during the weekends.
The DOTD says the project is expected to be completed by November.
