'Baywatch' Star Details How OnlyFans Changed Her Life
Brande Roderick rose to prominence on the hit TV show Baywatch at the turn of the millennium and went on to grace the pages of Playboy in subsequent years. Now, the actress and model is using her Playboy posing skills in a new way on her OnlyFans account.
In a new interview with Fox News, Roderick opened up about how launching her page on the exclusive fan page has been a financial boon to her and her family.
"It's been great, honestly," the 50-year-old said. "Me being a single mom of two boys with no financial support from their father, I have to take care of my family. And for me, my passion and love is acting and producing. So, in order for me to do that, I have, you know, my side job with OnlyFans, which helps to facilitate my other passion of acting and producing. So, for me, it's been really a wonderful outlet for me."
She's well-versed in the art of nude photos, making the transition to the platform pretty natural. Still, her OnlyFans posts are a bit more tasteful than her past print work.
"Well, I do pretty much, basically Playboy," she explained. "I continue that, I do beautiful art photos like I did when I was in Playboy. I don't show any nudity down below—that's the only difference—but I do try to make them very artistic and very beautiful and very meaningful."

It's been an empowering experience for the Celebrity Apprentice alum. She noted the fact that "you're your own editor" on OnlyFans, affording her a level of control over her output that many actors and models typically don't have.
"You only put out there the images that you love and that you want the world to see," she said. "Whereas when you were doing Playboy, you really had no control over it. So, it's like I’m my own Hugh Hefner, I guess."

She's not the only Baywatch star to cross over into OnlyFans work. Carmen Electra has her own account and previously told Fox News about this new level of personal production.
"At first, I wasn't sure if it was something I wanted to do, but I really looked into it, and I realized I could be my own boss," she said. "I love being a part of OnlyFans, because I shoot when I want to shoot. I have creative control of doing whatever I want to do."
The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo is another actress in her 50s taking advantage of the lucrative benefits of OnlyFans. Given its growing popularity among some celebrities, it could become a legitimate financial competitor for some stars compared to work in Hollywood.
