Town of Welsh to have planned power outages this weekend
WELSH, La. (KLFY) -- The Town of Welsh will have a series of planned power outages this weekend, authorities said.
Officials said the outages are necessary due to the replacement of utility poles in the town.
The outages will take place Saturday and Sunday, in the following streets and times:
- Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon: Fourth, NW Railroad, Second, Prudhomme, N. Carter, N. Littell, Welsh, N. Kennedy, Kelly, Davis, N. Polk, N. Elms, N. Sarah, SW Railroad and SE Railroad Ave.
- Saturday, 12:30-6 p.m.: Millard, Prudhomme, N. Carter, Martin Luther King, N. Sarah, N. Polk, N. Elms, SW Railroad, E. South, S. Adams, Railroad, S. Polk and S. Elms St.
- Sunday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.: S. Simmons, Short, E. Russell, Bourgeois, Doucet, Willard, Floyd, Radeke, S. Joseph, Madge, E. South, Beaufort, Mable, Eastridge, N. Joseph, Anthony, Center, Jane and Armstrong St.
