Postal Service insists it's ready for flood of mail-in ballots
WASHINGTON, D.C.: U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has reassured state election officials that the Postal Service is prepared to manage the influx of mail-in ballots ahead of the November election.
In a letter released this week, DeJoy addressed concerns raised by state officials about potential delivery issues while asserting that the Postal Service will be ready for the challenge.
DeJoy acknowledged
