An elderly couple, both in their 80s and begging for a living, were killed by a four-wheeler while sleeping on a footpath near Parmat temple in Kanpur early Saturday morning. Police are investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and its driver who fled the scene.
