Second juvenile arrested in connection to Geary County School District threats
JUNCTION CITY, KS. (KSNT) - A second juvenile has been arrested in connection to the ongoing investigation involving social media threats with the Geary County School District.
According to a press release from the Junction City Police Department, the arrest took place Friday, September 20. The individual was transported to the police department for processing, then released to their parents.
They were charged with Aggravated Criminal Threat.
According to the police department, based on findings, they believe there was no intent of violence towards any of the district's schools or staff, and they don't anticipate any more arrests. Although, this investigation remains ongoing.
