Chappell Roan Addresses Why She Hasn't Endorsed Kamala Harris for President
Chappell Roan is opening up about her politics.
The 26-year-old singer, whose song “Femininomenon” has been used by Kamala Harris‘ campaign, spoke about her unwillingness to endorse a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
“I have so many issues with our government in every way,” she told The Guardian.

“There are so many things that I would want to change. So I don’t feel pressured to endorse someone.
“There’s problems on both sides. I encourage people to use your critical thinking skills, use your vote – vote small, vote for what’s going on in your city,” she continued.
When she was asked about changes she’d like to see, Chappell said: “Trans rights. They cannot have cis people making decisions for trans people, period.”
She is donating £1 for every UK tour ticket sold to the LGBTQ+ rights charity Kaleidoscope Trust.
She also explained why she hopes she doesn’t win a Grammy.
