Majhi orders judicial inquiry into army officer's custodial 'torture', 'sexual assault' of fiancee

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered a judicial inquiry into the alleged torture of an army officer and sexual assault of his fiancee at a police station. The investigation will be overseen by Justice Chittaranjan Das, with a report due in 60 days. Five police personnel have been suspended.
