Four rescued from overturned boat off of Long Island
NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Four individuals were rescued in Long Island Sound Sunday afternoon, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Police received a call about an overturned sailboat around 1:01 p.m.
The Marine Bureau Unit and the Westchester Police Department removed the four individuals from the water. No one was injured during the incident, police said.
The sailboat was towed to shore by the Town of North Hempstead Bay Constable.
