Whitmer shooter sent to prison while trial starts for co-defendant in earlier shooting

A man convicted of shooting six people over the course of two days — one of them fatally and three others outside a Whitmer High School football game — was sentenced to 34 years in prison Monday morning in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
