World leaders tour NYC's overdose prevention center

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) -- Leaders from around the world came together on Monday to tour New York City's overdose prevention site.

The facility allows people to use drugs in a controlled environment and staff members hope it will be a model to the world to prevent overdoses.

The facility is about more than keeping people alive. It is teaching and giving people services to help them mentally and physically.
