Court Decides How to Distribute 'Rocky' Star Carl Weathers' Estate

Rocky star Carl Weathers' death in February left fans in mourning and his sons Matthew and Jason Weathers with his estate to distribute. Now, after a final report from a court-appointed administrator, his kids will begin to see what his father left behind for them.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the total value of Weathers' estate was listed as $870,053.83. This consists of two accounts at City National Bank with $147,000 in funds as well as safety deposit boxes at the bank with $664,000 in cash, in addition to 2018 GMC pickup truck worth an estimated $58,000.

Weathers first drafted a will in 1988 and made some changes to it in 2014. The estate's administrator asked the court to approve $20,000 in fees for work on the case and another $20,000 for legal fees, ultimately requesting that the estate be closed and the assets distributed to sons Matthew and Jason.
