From Blackpink’s Jisoo to Anya Taylor-Joy: The Best Celebrity Shoe Moments From Dior’s Spring 2025 Show
Christian Dior held its spring 2025 showcase today for Paris Fashion Week.
The runway presentation, held at the historic Rodin Museum, enacted Creative Director’s Maria Grazia Chiuri’s vision in glamorous fashion inspired by Diana of Versailles, a marble statue of the Roman Goddess of Hunting. The show’s front row was jam-packed with a myriad of notable stars.
Natalie Portman, Olivia Palermo, Rosalia, Rosamund Pike, Ashley Park, Blackpink’s Jisoo and Seventeen’s Mingyu owned the front row, donning a variety of head-turning footwear hailing from the French fashion house. In honor of the star-studded celebrity attendees and the highly-anticipated showing, FootwearNews is rounding up the best celebrity shoe moments from Dior’s spring 2025 front row.
Natalie Portman
Going grunge, Portman attended the show in a pair of grungy black Dior riding boots. The knee-high style was crafted of lush black leather and featured rounded toes, silver grommets and thick straps fed through buckle adornments. Short stacked block heels and thick rubberized tread rounded out the fall-ready set. The silhouette is a popular one for many, especially as the weather gets colder.
In a contrasting twist, the thespian donned a girly crystalized bubble skirt partnered with a corsetted black velvet jacket with mid-length balloon sleeves. The “Leon The Professional” star has been an ambassador for the brand since 2011.
Jisoo
The K-pop sensation wowed at the runway showing in slouchy knee-high booties. The style, also likely from Dior, featured black satin uppers and contrasting white striping up the sides. Knife-like pointed toes gave way to tiny stiletto heels, offering the songstress a subtle boost in height.
In true flashy fashion, the “Flower” singer sported black leather micro shorts partnered with an off-the-shoulder top fixed with a playful fringy hem. Jisoo became a global brand ambassador for Dior back in 2021. Since then, she has worked closely alongside the brand.
Rosalia
Rosalia attended the show in 90s-inspired slingback kitten heels. A staple silhouette for Dior, the choice encompassed thick gray straps that wrapped around the singer’s ankles, securing the shoe in place. Glossy leather uppers gave way to sharp pointed toes and tiny stiletto heels, hence the aforementioned kitten heel construction.
Additionally, the “Beso” singer wore a printed black suiting-inspired look which included a fitted blazer and a matching maxi-length pencil skirt. Back in May of this year, Rosalia was announced as the brand’s latest ambassador. She has also been the face of a Lady Dior campaign.
Rosamund Pike
The “Saltburn” actress went utilitarian for her look for the show, opting for a pair of chunky boots. Although they were slightly hard to see beneath the hem of her dress, the footwear choice included glossy black leather uppers and bulbous rounded toes. Thick rubber tread fixed to the shoes acted to cushion Pike’s feet, cradling them and offering support.
Pike also wore a black maxi dress fixed with a white ornate collar and exaggerated leg of mutton sleeves.
Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy was ethereal as always, sporting a pair of calf-length booties in black. The utilitarian style included black leather uppers and a rugged rubber-soled construction, acting to cushion the feet while imparting a non-slip feel. Although they were slightly hard to see, the shoe choice acted to edge up her look, delivering oodles of drama.
Contrasting her footwear, the “Split” actress wore a cream-colored sequin maxi skirt worn with a matching crochet cropped top.
Ashley Park
Going the sophisticated route, the “Emily in Paris” star popped into square-toed heels. Paired with opaque black tights, the shoe pick was crafted of glossy black patent leather uppers that transitioned into square toes topped with shiny hardware. Practical elements like 2 to 3-inch block heels and ankle straps finished off the set.
Like many of the show attendees, Park wore a sophisticated all-black ensemble consisting of a maxi skirt, a turtleneck top and a black trench coat. Each piece included bronzy elements.
Jennifer Garner
The “13 Going on 30” star also went a more classic route, popping on a pair of black and white heels. Dior’s take on the Mary Jane included glossy leather uppers, contrasting white trim, thin straps threaded through adjustable buckle closures and short and sculptural heels. Many designers have come out with their own take on the traditional silhouette, putting their own spin on it in a variety of unique ways that reflect their brand DNA.
Simplistic but sophisticated, Garner sported a black maxi dress that was belted and layered beneath a gray wool coat.
